History of Quakers in Heswall
Heswall Quaker Meeting has published this book which tells the story of Heswall Quakers over the past 75 years. It celebrated the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Meeting House in 1963.
In its 120 pages, illustrated with coloured photographs, it traces the trials and successes of this thriving meeting from the pre-war days, when there was only a tiny group of Quakers to keep the meeting going, to the present day.
The book is priced at £6.50, plus £1.10 postage and packing.
The painting on the front cover has also been reproduced as an attractive greetings card, priced at £1.50, post free.
